Stars made out of Champagne?
Yes, you read that right!! The stars in these photos are not stars. They are the champagne spray as this couple celebrated their engagement! The beautiful sunset at White Sands New Mexico created a constellation-like backdrop.
She said yes!!!
Naim and Ana wanted epic photos of their engagement. After seen my Instagram story of a previous engagement session I did at White Sands NM, they decided to book their session there.
two sessions in one
Before we did these amazing sunset celebration, we got the time to do some wonderful golden hour photos! The contrast between the golden hour and sunset photos make it seem like they are two completely different sessions. Check them out!
Golden hour magic
We arrived at White Sands an hour before sunset, which gave us enough time to get lots of beautiful candid and romantic photos. In most of the photos they never actually look at the camera. This session was magical because it captures the feeling of the moment. They were having fun with the props I was asking them to do, which is reflected in their smiles. None of the photos are posed or traditional, instead we focused on capturing the two of them madly in love.
Time for Champagne!
Just as sunset began, we took out the champagne bottles! The moment went by so fast but we were able to get amazing photos that truly capture how much fun we were all having. Their smiles, their laughs, their love! It is all contagious through these photographs. I created a reel with the video for Instagram.
White Sands New Mexico
If you want your photos to be magical and unique, White Sands is a beautiful place to go. It is truly amazing at any time of the day, just be sure to check out their park hours before going.
